About this service
Appliqué uses fabric instead of stitches to fill large areas, which is lighter, faster to sew, and ideal for varsity letters, kids' wear, and large logos. The file has to guide the operator through each step: stitch a placement line, stop for the fabric, tack it down, stop for trimming, then cover the edge. We sequence all of that correctly and can supply matching cut files for pre-cut fabric pieces.
How we build it
- Placement line, tack-down, and cover stitch sequence with machine stops between each step
- Satin or blanket-stitch edge finishes, with widths chosen for the fabric being applied
- Optional cut files (SVG/DXF) so fabric pieces can be pre-cut to the exact shape
- Multi-layer appliqué supported, with the stacking order planned
