About this service
Hook-and-loop backing lets patches be swapped on and off uniforms and gear. The hook side is sewn to the back of the patch, usually through the border stitching, so the patch outline and border must be designed to take that extra stitching. We set up the patch shape, border width, and edge allowance so the hook backing can be attached cleanly without disturbing the design.
